Help with my OC

Hi so I have a 6700k and a asus z170 a mobo. Ive noticed that my cpu is always running at 4.2ghz and the vcore is at 1.328 at idle idk why but it is (I think its cause of my power plan). Ive never overclocked so I was wondering if you guys would know the EXACT things I need to change in my bios for a 4.5ghz OC keep in mind I dont know anything about overclocking. Thanks!

Hey Matt, I suggest you watch some videos on youtube. There are some great Overclocking guides there for beginners. There a lot to explain and well its different with each CPU. Also I know Asus motherboards have Overclocked presets that you can choose in the bios. Mess around with those a bit but do some research before you do.
