Hey so I spent the past few hours making a pc build online. My budget was 600$ but it turned out to be 680$ including rebates. I really would an opinion on my build and if there are areas to shed some of the money and if its worth it to get a better part then what I listed. I really want to be able to play most games on at least medium quality with no lag. (single player games) Currently I have a laptop for 600$ that was prebuilt, and am kinda regretting it now, after a year of using it. The graphics card in this build is like a year old... would you recommend a newer one?

Dropped the unlocked CPU with aftermarket cooler for a locked i5 (similar gaming performance as an overclocked i5) and a much more powerful graphics card which makes all the difference.

If you can stretch the budget I would try to get a nicer case such as a Corsair 300R.
