Yes, i deserve it if you consider the fact, that so far, i have been working on a dual core sh*t-as* computer. I've been saving up for ages, and now, i got a small window to buy the computer in August.

Do you have any advice?

It seems a little odd to me to spend that much on a computer. Obviously I don't know your financial situation, but in 6-9 months a lot of those parts are going to be quickly heading towards obsolete, and I do have to wonder if it is worth it? The other thing I wonder about is are you actually going to get that computer reaching its potential 95% of the time you use it? You don't want to be spending exorbitant sums on kit that barely gets out of second gear 90% of the time. Good luck to you though.

I am not going to need something more in 6-9 months, because i mainly play games and watching bluray movies on it. I sometimes design or customize house, boats, bikes, cars, etc.. 3D models, for friends. Or other times i work on pictures with photoshop, while rendering 2 vids simultaneously with vegas pro 10, and listening to music . I need something strong.

My first thought on the system itself - why 580's not 590's?

Now, 3 gtx 580's, and not the 1.5gb but the 3GB version, wouldn't that beat a gtx 590?

You can only quad-sli 2 590's, which means it will be like you have 4 x 1.5gb 580's, right?
That makes a total of 6GB. (following me?)

But 4 gtx 580's 3GB, would make a total of 12GB!

The amount of memory is not the most important thing but yes in this case 4x GTX 580 will soundly thrash 2x GTX 590
