I'm building a new pc for gaming and general usage(multitasking too). The goal is to make a long lasting pc. So I'm not sure about some of the components. Those are components Im considering so far:
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming X Trio 8GB GDDR6
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K, 3.6GHz, 16 MB
RAM: HyperX Fury RGB, DDR4, 32 GB, 2666MHz, CL16
PSU: XFX XTR2 850W
Case: SilentiumPC Regnum RG4T Pure Black
First, I'm conflicted about CPU. Maybe I should take i7 9700k. i9 9900k has more threads and it's newer, but I read that it's power consuming and it can get very high temperatures so I will need a good cooler and premium motherboard. i7 9700k isn't that power consuming and it costs less, but it doesn't have hyperthreading(8 cores and 8 threats). And apparently i9 performance is only 1% - 5% better. Which processor should I take for gaming and multitasking, i9 or i7? And I'm not going to overclock so maybe I should take non k versions to save some money?
Another thing is CPU cooling. Those are coolers that I'm considering regardless which processor I'm going to choose:

SilentiumPC Fortis 3 HE1425 v2
Are this good for i7 and i9 or is there a better air cooler?
Many recommend Noctua NH-D15 or Dark Rock 4 Pro, but my problem is that my case, SilentiumPC Regnum RG4T, is limited to 159mm cooler. Both Noctua and Dark Rock 4 Pro are over 160mm.
Next is the ATX motherboard. So far those are that Im considering:
Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X
MSI Z390-A PRO
From what I read, processor i9 can make motherboard VRM very hot. I prefer to take the MSI or Gigabyte motherboard, so then which MSI or Gigabyte motherboards should I choose to i7 or i9 CPU?
Also I need a motherboard with PS/2 port.
