I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they think I would have any issues with this build?

Also it would be extremely helpful if anyone had any suggestions on better part alternatives. Ideally I would like to cut the price down quite a bit. If I could get under $800 or even lower if possible without sacrificing too much power that would be excellent. I'm not sure if anything would be overkill or not.

I will be using the computer for gaming as well as some design work using the Adobe Suite and the usual other media stuff.

Ill be pulling parts from my old rig to fill whats missing. I.E. Hard drive, monitor, etc.

OK thanks. BTW I should have mentioned this in my original post but I like the option for adding a second GPU and I like the idea of having a large case for ease of maintenance. Not sure though if it will make it harder to cool or make airflow funny however.

Well you can get a performance boost from it, but usually the difference isn't too dramatic. The 4670k will be a better but the difference is $40. If your on a budget I'd say a 4440 is just fine

If you can save up for a 4670k I'd go for it. If not a 4440 is still a great cpu.

If you are planning to go with the i5-3550p, you wil be able to overclock it a few hundred megahertz and I think the stock cooler would be OK in that case, but just to be on the safe side you may get a Hyper 212 EVO or even a Hyper TX3 will do, so you don't really need that water cooler. The motherboard is too expensive and it is meant for high overclocks which you won't be able to do any way on the i5-3550p. So you should go with something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-b85mpro4
Get a better GPU instead. The GTX 760 is a great choice if you game at 1080p.
You don't need a full tower case, a mid tower case will do.
