Help With New PC Build

Hi there,
I was with same pc since 2008 and now it's time for new one and hope to see what your thought about the new build I going to buy.

Intel Core i7 4790K
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming GT
Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8GB DDR3
2400MHz Kit
Gigabyte GTX970 G1 GAMING SOC 4GB
Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB SSD
Corsair 1000W 80+ Platinum HX1000i
Thermaltake Core V71 Full Tower Black
Corsair Hydro H105 240mm

This suppose to be a gaming pc
The GTX 970 might be replace later with GTX 980 TI if it be in my budget

So what you think?

I would drop the ram down to 1600 or 1866 to save some money. The extra speed dosent affect performance much.
I would also drop the PSU down to lower wattage, cheaper units such as: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750snlb9

In gaming it won't change performance even if i oc the cpu to handle the 2400mhz memory?
also you think the 750 psu will handle oc + gtx 980 ti at the future?

It wont affect it most likely.
750W should be enough.
