Question Help with new PC Build

Hello all, I've run into a bit of an infuriating problem and I'm hoping that someone will have some good advice.

I recently bought some new parts for a Ryzen build, here are the following specs:

Ryzen 3 2200g
Thermaltake 600w smart series psu
ASrock b450m-hdv
HyperX hx426c16fb2/8 (1x8gb)

After assembling everything today and plugging it in, the system will turn on, run the fans and LEDs but not enter BIOS or do anything else at all. I thought that the issue might be incompatible or unseated RAM, but even with the RAM removed, doesn't beep or anything.

Does anyone have experience with something similar?

Is the RAM in the correct DIMM? I would try the RAM in each DIMM and see if it will boot. Running one stick could be the issue as it is a dual channel board, but it should still boot, there will just be performance loss.
