Help with newbuild?

Hi guys i'm a bit stuck with a PC I've just built. Below is the Spec

Intel Core i7- 870 - 2.93 GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Cooler Hyper 212 Plus CPU heatsink
ASUS P7P55D LGA 1156 Intel Motherboard
Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX
500GB 3.5" SEAGATE PIPELINE 3500312CS SATA HARD DRIVE
Palit Sonic GTX560Ti graphics card
Silencio 550 Coolermaster case
+ a DVD rewriter.

my problem is i don't get a picture when i turn the PC on. All components seem to be working mbo is lighting up fans and running and gpu is working. Any ideas?

double check the power cables..make sure you have the 24 pin motheboard power hooked up, an 8 or 4 pin cpu power hooked up, video card is hooked up, hard drives and optical drives are receiving power and have data cable running from them to the motherboard

Did you plug the monitor into the video card?

the only think that i can think is the 4/8 bit power cpu i can't find it on the mbo. and also yes hooked up to both VGA and HDMI neither work

You can't find the cpu power connector? It should be on the very top. That definitely needs to be plugged in.

yeah ok problem now is the power lead to the cpu from the powersupply is no where near long enough

Well looks like you need an extension or different psu. I'm surprised it doesn't fit though.
