Help with OC'ing AMD Radeon 7950 HD w/ 3GB DDR5

I have a relatively outdated (compared to this gen of cards) Sapphire AMD Radeon 7950 HD clocked at 850mhz w/ 3GB of DDR5 RAM. Although it still has some firepower left in it, I would like to OC to squeeze some more out it. I'm thinking of getting rid of it and getting a better card, but I could save myself some money and OC it. (In case OC'ing it melts my GPU, I've got enough to cover it) But I've never OC'ed anything before and I've got no idea how much I should OC and/or how to even OC. Any help on my situation will be greatly appreciated.
