Help with oddly low 3dMark Score?

I'm running a 3400+ with 2 gigs of ram and an x800xt pe. In HL2 Stress test I'm getting 107fps with everything on high @ 4xAA 8xAniso. Was running an old 3DMark01 test though and consistantly scored in the 18k-19k range. Pretty sure I should be scoring closer to 25-28k. I uninstalled my drivers and updated them, but still no change. I'm using the newest Omega drivers. Any ideas what might be causing the low scores? I'll download and run the newer 3dmarks to check if I'm low on all of them or not, but any help in the mean time would be appreciated.

Thanks

***Just ran ATI Tray Tools Benchmark and scored a 5870 which is lower than an x800 pro is supposed to score.

Run a real 3dmark version, at bare minimum 3dmark 03. I strongly suggest you run 3dmark 05 and then analyze your score.

Most likely you are cpu limited in 3dmark01.

Sounds about right.

Where did you see that you should be scoring 25-28k in 3dmark 01. If it was toms then there is a good chance they used a really high end cpu, ie fx55 at that time or whatever. When you are getting like 300 fps your video card is not limiting very much if at all. Most likely its your cpu. I wouldnt worry about it though. As long as you are getting the fps you should be in current games you should be fine.

Got that idea from 3dmark's comparison site. All the other x800xt pe's running a processor in the 3400-3500+ range scored about 23k-25k with a few up in the 28k range. Still no clue why my 2k1 score is lower, but games and 05 all seem about right so I guess it doesn't matter much. Thought I might have a problem, but every other test I've run since comes back fine.

6044 sounds right, but i thnk my computer is a freak cos i am scoring 5541 with my P4 3.0ghz prescott 512mb ram and a 6800GS 512mb vram
