Help with overclocking a monitor

Hello, i bought a asus vx238h and it has a ability to run in 75 hz, but i would like to overclock it to around 80hz. Will it be possible with this monitor? (I have MSI ARMOR Gtx 1060 6GB gpu) And if it is possible then what cable will i need to use to run with 80hz.
PORTS IN MONITOR: 2x HDMI, D-sub
PORST IN GPU: 3x DisplayPort(Version 1.4), HDMI(Version 2.0), DL-DVI-D

Will DisplayPort to VGA D-sub cabel work with 80hz ???

No and you don't want to use vga anyways. It comes with a hdmi to dvi cable, what's wrong with that?

So its not possible to overclock? About cables... Im not a profesional in that type of topic. So u say hdmi to dvi

I never said anything about not ocing. Vga is analog, everything is digital theses days. It's best to use anything except vga. The monitor comes with the cable so there is no reason not to use it.
