I have an i7 930 processor and I would like to get more out of it than the stock 2.8ghz that it is running at right now. I am completely new to overclocking and this forum so my apologies ahead of time. Here is some info about my build.. if you need more just respond saying so. I think I am looking to get at least 3.5ghz out of this processor? Maybe a little more.

My CPU temp is an average of 35 degrees Celsius idle.

I just overclocked mine to 3.8 and dont go over 55c... I used that guide and also the youtube video below as this was my VERY first OC ever and I have to say I like it. All I can really say is if your new to it work from bottom to top so you dont fry anything and you know the last thing that you changed so you can change it back.
