Help with overclocking

I have a NH-L12 and want to overclocking my Xeon E3 1276 V3 to 4 GHZ and do not know when you have to increase the voltage. I know it can be done. You increase the baseclock

You can, but typically raising the base clock will result in SATA and USB instabilities since the base clock is tied to the PCI clock. Not worth the hassle unless you are just trying for a HWBOT cup or something.
