I am trying to build my own gaming pc for around $900 and I have a part list for it but I don't know if it is good for running games like minecraft, csgo, and Gary's mod. Also I am not sure on that case. I don't want to spend so much money and if you see anything can I can downgrade but still be able to get good fps while recording/streaming let me know. And I am going to need a monitor, any suggestions?

drop the cd driver, drop to a 550watt power supply, buy some sh1t and cheap mouse& keyboard and change that GPU to a GTX 970 and you can play most modern games on ultra-very high on 1080p.
Best you can do out of your budget.

15+20( optical drive) +30( mouse keyboard) thats 65$, you throw in another 40$ for the 970 and all your games will run on a much higher graphical quality, offering much higher settings, achieving much higher performance.

Trust me it's worth it. you will have a blast if you get the 970, not to mention future proofing. the GTX 970 is actually direct3d feature level 12_1 while the 280 is not a dx12 card. and win10 with dx12 is out in around 30 days.

For display i suggest an 1080p 60Hz monitor with displayport or HDMI connection like the LG22MP55 which is quite cheap.
