Help With PC

Hey guys im getting into linux, vms, and servers and I was wondering what pc I should get. I look to host mc servers on the side and use the linux as os and school and stuff. I was wondering what cpu I should get and if I should get ddr4 or ddr3. Also if this is reasonable. I look to host around 5 vms and a mc server with atleast 100 slots (dont need that much just want, dont judge). Thank you and sorry for my grammar i dont care about it, its an online forum.

VMs are most sensitive to RAM. DDR3 or DDR4 is less critical than having LOTS of it. 32GB isn't too much for VMs. A quad core CPU (i5 or i7) CPU should be fine.
