Help with picked a CPU

So, I bought this computer and it works well, but it is kinda old so I want to upgrade it. The motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4, and it says it does am3. SO I need to know since it is old, can it hold and amd fx-6300 or amd fx-8320 in that motherboard?
