Hi all!
I hope I am posting in the right area, if not; mods please guide me.
To the point, I would like to avoid an essay as I usually end up writing one up.
Had a Z87 Fatal1ty Killer, with an i7 4770k.
Thought GPU died one day. Turns out its mobo.
Want to just replace the mobo.
Would like to spend around 500 AUD (360~USD) on a new LGA 1150 board, but since they are not made anymore (in im not wrong) I find it hard to compare things on the net since many articles and comparisons were posted at different times throughout the last few years.
Basically I OC to about 4.2 on an air cooler.
I run 32gb ram, and 6 hard drives (1 1tb ssd and 5 5tb drives) and a dedicated sound card plus some bits and pieces like lighitng and a fan controller, all through a 1200W psu by Cooeler Master. and an AMD R9 390 Black Ed by XFX

Now the thing is i have been browsing but seem to find it very hard to pick which one I should get since for the money someone recommended the ASUS Tuf sabertooth 1 z97 or whatever its called but I got picky since my case is black and white themed.
But either way, can anyone recommend anything that I can run for minimum 5 years with no worry that fills my budget, colour scheme, is ATX size and can take quite a beating?

Thanks in advance.
PS yes if you want to know I game heavily on 3 screens and in terms of GPU its temporary until pascal is released. If that is of any relevance.

Its an ASROCK, and I bought it with a years warranty. But do not worry, I am looking into it, and even of they do I am handing that board to my dad who is looking at sourcing his own parts.
I saw it as a chance to give the pc relief of its oldest part as well tho so I am still hooked on the idea.

Exactly the place I was planning to buy from, even though they have screwed me over a couple of times. Thank you for the advice and reply though, it is appreciated.
But if I may, do you think the Asus Maximus VI extreme or Maximus VII Formula are also worth looking at?

While both those are good boards the Asus Maximus VI extreme has Z87 chipset but the Maximus VII Formula has Z97 chipset. For this reason I would recommend the Maximus VII Formula.

The Z97 has a few advantages over the Z87:

1. It can take both Haswell and Broadwell CPUs. I know some Z87 take the Devil's Canyon processor but they usually need a BIOS update.

2. The Z97 chipset supports SATA Express and M.2 which means you can get better throughput from SSDs.

This will give you better upgrade options and most likely a better resale value in the future when you do your next upgrade and sell your existing parts.
