Hello all,
I have a 'MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX' and I'm trying to plug some ARGB 'Aerocool DUO12 case fans' to it.
There is currently two slots for RGB (Labelled 'JRGB1' and 'JRGB2') on the mobo, however they are both 4-pin male connections. The fans have an female output of 6-pin but this can be changed using the adapter cable in the box. When using the adapter cable the fan now has the outputs 'IN VDG', 'XWD' and 'PWM Connector' with the only one which could connect up to the mobo being the XWD connection but this is a 3-pin female connection (One of the pins being covered).
If anyone could tell me how I can go about connecting them to my mobo that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
(Further info: I've connected some RGB (Not ARGB) strips to the mobo before however these just had a simple 4-pin female connection. Currently, I have plugged the fans in and they working, just not the actual ARGB since I am unsure where it connects to.)
