Hi guys.
I'm planing to buy a new system with these configurations:
Mb: ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Performance (s1155, P67, PCI-Ex16)
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K
Cooler: Hyper 212 Plus or XIGMATEK LOKI SD963(any sugestions maybe)
Ram: 2 x HYNIX 4GB 1600MHz
Gpu: GIGABYTE GTX660 2048Mb GDDR5 192-bit, 1033-1098/6008MHz
Case: COOLERMASTER Storm Enforce ATX no PSU 2 coolers included

Help me please to choose a budget Power Suply for(<100$) . I don't have a very big choice I'm from Moldova and this http://translate.google.com/translate?langpair=ru%7Cen&u=http://www.hard.rozetka.com.ua/ru/products/procategory/270/index.html are all brands and models I can find.

Thank you
If any other sugestions about config. Welcome!

Блок питания FSP Aurum 600 (AU-600)
Подробнее: http://hard.rozetka.com.ua/fsp_aurum_600/p159286/

for 90$ will do great for ur system my friend :)

80+gold rated and nice stable 600watts.

Hi - right at your limit - but an oustanding unit - I'll look for some
for less money, but this is a nice unit if you can spend the money:

Tom

thats just 80+regular , ive stated a fsp aurum with 80+gold just as good as ur but with higher efficiency, i talt about that one also but id prefer to suggest something with higher energy efficiency.

but that choice is good as well toy :)

Whatever dOrel prefers - the HT is actually bronze, it delivers 642w of +12v
vs 540w of +12v for the fsp. His choice more +12v power or better
efficiency.
Not a lot of decent alternatives 'in stock' at that site.

thats incorrect.

the cpu utilizes at max 120 when not overclocked when overclocked a bit higher,

videocard is 140W

+ the rest of the system unshur of but its more than u pretend it is.

also i recommand going with atis or nvidias minimum power requirement just to be safe.

May well be, it's based off the power consumption numbers of the 3570k and 660Ti PEOC that I'm currently testing, so it's probably a little high

I don't play in the land of make believe

Correct, I don't care about manufacturers reccomendations
But do not imply that my suggestions are incorrect when you have no idea other than those manufacturers reccomendations

well to put it simply i go with recommanded things, i dont really care to use a killa-watt meter tbh.

ive always gone with recommand specs and works great, and your right i dont know much about killa-watt meters,

ive never used them or feel the need too, thanks for the recommandation.

and i was referring to recommanded power requirement numbers when i said u where incorrect, like u said a killa-watt meter prob more accurate.

cheers.

iceclock if you'll have to choose between FSP Aurum 600 (AU-600)(90$) and Seasonic SS-600ET-F3 600W(87$), which one will you get?

Yes 140 watts is the TDP of the card, question was " Do you know the reccomendation ? "
Nvidia says minimum 450w with a 6 pin connector ( thier reccomendations are based on a 130 watt I7-930 )
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-660/specifications
So does Gigabyte
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125443

TPU tested half a dozen or so , none made to the TDP under Furmark load.

The 3570K has a 77 watt TDP, ain't gonna max at 120 with no overclocking, isn't going to hit the TDP at all
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core-i7-3770k-i5-3570k_8.html
109 watts maxed, with a GTX580 idling on the board
Let's just call it 100 watts after the psu efficiency conversion
Now a GTX580 idles at 33 watts, http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_580/25.html let's subtract that
67 watts with the cpu maxed
Let's add the idle power consumption of a 660, http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_660_Twin_Frozr_III/25.html +7
~74 watts DC with the cpu maxed and an idle video card
Hmm, what happens when we add the 140 watt TDP of a GTX660 with the 67 watts that a basic I5-3570K system draws under full cpu load
Whoa, around 214 watts with the cpu and gpu maxed
:hello:

What do you think LinX and Furmark do to the cpu and gpu ?
Here's a hint, they run them at loads that you wouldn't normally see, umm, maximum utilization I think you would call it, at least I and anyone else who knows what they do would

i already agreed with u dell, on the point with a killa-watt meter would read a closer and more accurate reading, but like i said i go with recommanded power requirements and what the manufacturer says it will utilises at a maximum at load.
