Hello, all. Found this forum an hour ago, and it seems to be a very helpful place for people who aren't that technical with PCs. I've been looking to upgrade my current PC for some time now and I found one that caught my eye which is in my budget (£700 - 800). On my current PC, I can run games like RDR2 & Modern Warfare (2019) on the lowest settings at 40-60fps so hopefully, the pre-built PC can make my experience smoother.

Current PC specs (I hope the CPU, GPU and RAM would be enough, couldn't find much else).

CPU:
Intel i3-6100
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB
RAM: 8GB.

Pre-built PC for £799

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 6GB
RAM: 8GB. (In the future I might increase it to 16GB)
Link for further information if needed: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...tx-1660-1-tb-hdd-256-gb-ssd-10205579-pdt.html

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The pc is just one from pc specialist. You can spec out your own from Pc specialist themselves and get a better pc for the same amount (before vat).

Case: Pick whatever you like.
Processor (CPU) : AMD ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: The Asus b450 prime will do, I recommend the Asus tuf gaming 550-plus
Memory: 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR 3200Mhz(2x8gb)
Graphics card: 6gb Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Super
1st storage drive: not required
2nd storage drive: none
1st m.2 ssd drive: 512gb Intel 660p m.2 nvme (could go for 1tb instead)
Power supply: Corsair TXm 550w or 650w
The rest can be left as is, or you can change it.

TBH, pc specialist is pretty close to the cost of building it yourself, about £80 more. But, the warranty is shorter :( ...
I wont recommend this because you can get a much better PC with that much money. I'm not an expert on foreign pricing but that's ~1000USD and in that amount of money you can build a much better rig than the one you've show me. Plus they're charging you that much while giving you 8GB Ram, so you instantly know something is wrong when they ask for so much but somehow cant even deliver 16GB of ram. To add onto it, the installed ram is Slow(2400Mhz) it's clear as day that they want to make as much money as they possibly can.

I'm also unable to find what PSU they are using and if they've cheaped out on that as well and you're unlucky that it fails then you lose all your money. I just think you should be brave and build your own PC, or atleast get help from someone who knows about stuff to help you select parts and build it.

@Tioym I educated myself a bit and watched some videos on ram and other PC components. I think it would be wise to follow @maxamillionfeettall's suggestion and check out the PC specialist site to do some more research on the parts.

I appreciate the help and glad I didn't rush into deciding.
