Hi, I bought a prebuilt a bit ago, but want to put a GPU in it for better performance, though, my PSU limits that QUITE a bit, its only 180 watts, was going to buy a 500 watt PSU and a GPU but my psu is quite weird and only plugs into the mobo in 3 places..one by the CPU/cooler one next to the wifi card, and a slot of Protruding pins that say FAN ATX, i have NO idea how to upgrade...can someone help? Thanks, also, the system in question is a HP Pavilion 590 w/R3 2200g

In regards to this system....If you are dead set on an upgrade I would probably look to reutilization of the CPU and memory on a new mobo/case/PSU rather than trying to work within this case or proprietary power supply. It will save you headaches down the road.
Thanks, but ill deal for now, i dont want to have to build a whole PC as i just recently got this, ill just do what the user above said until the machine needs a major overhaul

Well, consider ( I didn't see the product mentioned above in the link) the price on that PSU that can't be used for anything else. You can get an inexpensive ~500W PSU for sub $40. You can also pick a case for ~20+ and a decent modo for 35+. Once you do that you will be able to upgrade to any GPU you want within the limitations of the size/power selected. They will be parts you can use to upgrade to a different CPU later, etc....could even select a mobo you could have 4x RAM slots instead of 2....
I mention only from a not throwing money at a limiting factor, which your current build will continue to be. Don't take this to mean it isn't good for what you purchased it for. It is a common issue with prebuilt machines.

Yes, i know...actually, not that bad of a idea now that i think about it, the mobo for that price might be a little hard to find tho (Am4 socket, its a ryzen system)

Yes, sorry my pricing is off a bit as I have been perusing some used parts, and considering the price with a discount at a retailer I deal with. It appears that ~50+ is more reasonable on that aspect.
