Help with purchase of a new laptop.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a laptop to use during my Masters next year. I want my new laptop to have and I5 processor and I am limited to a budget of around 500 euro. After browsing in my home country's market I have found two strong candidates for my next laptop:

Acer Extensa EX2540:
CPU: Intel i5 7200U @ 2.5GHz
RAM: 4GB (i will upgrade to 8GB or 12GB)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620
Drive: HDD 500GB
OS: Windows 10
Screen Resolution: 1366x768
Price: 429 euro

Lenovo V110:
CPU: Intel i5 6200U @ 2.3GHz
RAM: 4GB (i will upgrade to 8GB or 12GB)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520
Drive: SSD 128GB
OS: Windows 10
Screen Resolution: 1366x768
Price: 449 euro

Also I am considering buying an SSD (~50 euro) if I buy the Acer Extensa and clone the HDD to have the original Windows. Is there any good program out that can help me do that?

seeing that the Acer one has Decent specs for a lower price i would lean towards it. check for online reviews of the said laptops and check if they have any known issues or not.

I would say that the acer is the best for normal purpose work. Unless you really need cpu power, I would recommend the acer.
