my system am running

PSU 500 w i buy like 5 years ago ..

3.0 might be your max with the stock cooler. Honestly, the Intel stock box coolers suck badly, and I wouldn't overclock 1Mhz with it. If you want to get a decent overclock out of it, and don't want to kill it, buy a new cooler. Until then, stick to 3.0.

well my temp is only at 30-35... and at max load for a hour the temp hit 58-62 .. 62 was max i ever see it go up too

Get a better cooler (Tuniq Tower 120 or a Thermalright) and raise your voltage to 1.4v.

After getting your system stable at 3.4 on 1.4v, bring the voltage down in small increments at a time to find your lowest operational voltage.

Then stress test it.

Also, an hour isn't long enough to determine your "max" temperature. Prime 95 runs different tests over the course of 24 hours or more. At only one hour, you might not see the combination of variables that will peak your cores.

Run it for 8+ (I recommend at least 12, but that's personal preference) hours Small FFT and make sure "Round-off checking" is enabled under the Advanced menu.

Good luck!
