Question help with raid 0

if i was to raid 0 my 2 hard drives 1 being a 7200rpm and the other a 5400rpm would this be a problem with crashing or not working as ive never done it before

Oh goodness gracious do not do this.

First off, WHY are you thinking of this RAID?
Second, what 'data' would you put on this?

mainly used for editing photos and watching movies but i noticed its getting slow someone suggested i try use raid 0 but wanted to know if it would help

No.

Watching movies - zero impact
photo editing - that happens in the CPU and RAM. Again, no impact.

If you want faster, SSD.
RAID 0 brings FAR more hazards.

The problem with RAID 0 is if any of the drives fail, you lose everything. Which means the chances of failure go up with each drive you add to it.

Get an SSD. Even a commodity SSD is miles better than RAID 0 a pair of hard drives on performance.
