Help with Ram Speeds

Hi, so, never overclocked before, could use some kind guidance.

Just built a new PC - got some 3000 DDR4 corsair LPX memory

It's currently defaulted to 2133

How exactly do I get it at 3000? or 2933?

It's an Asus Prime B-350 Motherboard Ryzen 5

Update to the latest BIOS. Then use the DOCP option in the BIOS. Did you check the Qualified list of RAM to see what the vendor thinks that ram might run ?

Yeh the ram is support, I was looking everywhere for something called XMP, as everything kept referring to it, even their own site and product page, turns out that's just an intel thing.

So, I can just us DOCP - do I need to do anything fancy with voltages or will DOCP take care of everything?

DOCP is the simple answer. I always recommend an overnight run of MEMTEST with a new build or a change to memory timings.
