Help with RAM

Hello everyone, I'm considering on upgrading my PC quite a bit since I'm going to sell my PS4 with a whole lot of games. I was thinking about buying an i5-4690K processor and a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 moherboard to go with it. The one thing I was wondering was if my current RAM sticks (Crucial BallistixSport 16GB 1600MHz) need replacement since I have no idea if they need a certain socket to work? Basically all I'm wondering is if they'll fit in a 1150 motherboard? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I really want to start maxing out my PC and just love computers in general and feel free to edjucate me in any certain area which I sound perhaps dumb or unedjucated in. Though It would really be a shame if I would have to buy new ones since these really work well for me.
