Hi,
I’m dealing with a bunch of frustrating PC issues, and I’m hoping someone here can help. Here’s what’s going on:
The Issues:

  1. Red Pixels:
    • Red and blue pixels appear on my main monitor (Samsung Odyssey G60SD, 2560 x 1440, 360 Hz) and left monitor (Lenovo 65FDGAC2UK, 1920 x 1080, 144 Hz).
    • The right monitor (Acer S240HL Abid, 1920 x 1080, 60 Hz) is unaffected.
    • Here’s a video showing the issue: Video of Red Pixels.
  2. Game Crashes:
    • Games crash unless I run them on low settings.
    • Crash logs are included below.
  3. Tearing in Helldivers 2:
    • Severe graphical tearing when playing Helldivers 2.
    • Here’s an imgur link showing the issue: Helldivers 2 Tearing.
What I’ve Tried:

  1. Reinstalled Windows: Did a clean install.
  2. DDU and Drivers: Used DDU to wipe GPU drivers and tested multiple versions.
  3. Disabled XMP: Turned XMP on and off.
  4. Reseated GPU: Removed and reseated the GPU, ensuring power cables are properly connected.
  5. Messed with a bunch of settings but nothing really.
Problems seem to have started when I got a new motherboard about a month ago.
My Setup:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-14700KF (3.4 GHz, 20-core)
  • GPU: Asus ProArt OC GeForce RTX 4070 (12 GB)
  • Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI II
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
  • Storage:
    • Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB NVMe SSD
    • Solidigm P44 Pro 512 GB NVMe SSD
    • Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB HDD
  • Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2023) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified
  • Monitors:
    • Main: Samsung Odyssey G60SD (2560 x 1440, 360 Hz)
    • Left: Lenovo 65FDGAC2UK (1920 x 1080, 144 Hz)
    • Right: Acer S240HL Abid (1920 x 1080, 60 Hz)
Crash Logs:
I’ve uploaded the Event Viewer crash report for Helldivers 2 to Pastebin: Crash Report.

Additional Notes:

  • Temps are normal, and benchmark tests haven’t revealed clear hardware issues.
  • All cables have been checked and reseated multiple times.
Could this be a GPU defect, driver-related, or something with my PSU or monitors? Any advice or ideas for further diagnostics or fixes would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks in advance for your help!

did you use the crappy adapter that came with the 4070.

do all your nvmes have heatsinks.

update your bios in your motherboard as alot of tweaks where made to asus motherboards over stability issues of i7 14700kf
