So, this is my build I am currently working on. Eventually I will add SLI with another 1070, water cooling, and some custom painting on the case. For now though:

I do not know a whole lot about fan control, or rgbs, since the only other build I have done the fans where included in the case, daisy chained, and had a single connector. I am trying to complete the internals with a sync-able rgb setup. According to https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/Sync.html both the Akasa Vegas x7 and the Cool Master 120 rgbs are compatible. However, I can not find a retailer in the U.S. that has them available, or an online retailer that will ship to the U.S.
I did find this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMUZMfnLTtw, That shows them using In Win Aurora fans and controller.
To make sure I am understanding this correctly, I know that the rgb has to connect to the header on the motherboard. But, like in the video, if you have multiple fans ran to the controller, you can just connect the controller to the motherboard and all of the fans act like one "device" for the purposes of the sync software? Does this work with any rgb fans/controllers that can connect to the header?
Also for led strips, is there a way to chain them together? What length of strips can a single header on the motherboard light?
Any other information, pointers, tips, or help would be greatly appreciated
