Hello everyone,

I have been trying to configure my router – a TPlink WDR 3600 after installing DD WRT firmware.
Been at it for 8 hours straight with no chance of getting it to work.

My setup is like this:

Modem > router > imac

After configuring the router, it says connection is up but cannot get internet either through wireless or ethernet cable.

Plugging moden directly to mac works fine and internet is there.

Could anyone help me out with this. Going mad here.

Many thanks in advance.

Did you reboot both the modem and router when connecting? DSL, cable or other? Make and model of modem?

Check the Status page on DD-WRT and verify the WAN and LAN status (valid IP, Gateway, DNS, connectivity, DHCP enabled). Post back findings.

Hello BuddhaSkoota,

Thanks for your post - was able to get it up and working.
I had DHCP running both on modem and router. Guess that was the problem, by turning DHCP off on modem solved the issue.

Have a great day.
Cheers.
