Hey
I plan on building a new rig for the upcoming rx480 and am not sure how this will perform. This is my first build so I went with a semi modular psu. I'm not sure exactly how much power the 480 will need but I heard something around 150w so I went with 650w to leave room for oc too. I like a quiet computer so I won't be overclocking it too hard which is why I went with a cheaper cpu cooler. I have a relatively new 240gb Kingston ssd for the OS and stuff.
If you do make changes, please keep the overall price around $1100 CAD. Also could you let me know what kind of oc I should expect to achieve with this cooler?

Thanks :)

The RX 480 will need a single 6 pin power cable. That gives the card access to up to 150 watts. However, people testing them claim that they generally use 100 watts while gaming, and 14 watts at idle.

RX 480 4GB $199
RX 480 8GB $229 or $239

i made 1 change. Since you are buying a power sipping RX 480 video card, and the rest of the system only needs 201 watts, you could add a pair of RX 480's and only get to 400 watt when gaming. So I lowered the wattage on the Power supply, boosted you from 80+ Bronze to 80+ Gold, went to fully modular from semi modularand switched you from a Corsair CXM to EVGA SuperNOVA 550w. Far too many Corsair power supplies die early. Price is the same I believe.

So the updated system is at...

A cheap air cooler will be better than that aio. Changed it to Skylake for better performance and upgrade path. Also a better quality power supply.
