help with sata power connectors

i have a sata power connector connected to a HD and another connector which melted so i dont use it and another one connected to the CD-rom , right now i bought a new HD and i want to connect it along with the other one, the question is can i remove the power connector from the CD-rom and connect it to the HD ?

Yes you can but obviously loose your CD drive then.
