Just purchased and hooked up the DTT 3500's to a SB X-Gamer 5.1 card. NO SOUND, nada, nothing!! I then plugged in my old set of speakers and they worked. BTW, whole system is brand new.

The 3500's work when i press the test key on the remote. NOTE: the Dolby Digital light at the bottom of the decoder box isnt lit which means it isnt recognizing the digital signal. Does this mean that the sound card isnt putting out a digital signal?? BTW, the DIN cable is hooked into the digital out on the sound card in case you were wondering

I'm lost because I dont know jack about the software stuff. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANX!

what kind of O.S. are you using?
In win2k or XP
still no solution for Dolby digital signal passby if you are using SB Live 5.1 and Audigy

try to use SB Live or SB Live value
you can try 3300a, b, c version! you can get it done~~~(only in win2k)

even i have the XP beta liveware and XP beta driver for sb 5.1 and audigy! i cannot pass the signal either

you can see the detail on the other post~~~~
