Help with set top box connected to laptop.

I have a Lenovo g50 laptop I am unable [strike]2[/strike] to connect frm my setup box to laptop through HDMI port.

can u please help me?

Are you trying to connect your set top box to your laptop via HDMI to view shows on your laptop screen? If so it will not work as for the most of the laptops the HDMI port is out port, I have seen in/out HDMI port on all-in-one PCs only.
