Hi all!
I really Need your help! <3
I'm new, I bought this new router with QoS Because I like to play online games like RTS or FPS and i need a decent ping to play properly.
I have 4 people who usually use internet in my house, through wifi, to watch videos, streams, etc.. and this makes me lag and my ping reach 2-3k ms.. this makes my gaming experience almost impossible..
So I bought this router to set up some rules and have priority over their packet, but I'm not that good in settings these things up.. i tried but seems that nothing changed!

If there is any configuration that allows me to set the wireless at low priority (or that allows me to set a max speed for wifi) it would be great, otherwise, can someone explain me how exactly it works and what should i do to reduce/remove those lag spikes?
In spoiler you can find my actual configuration and what i did
So I opened the QoS and set dota2, League of legend port (on my MAC) at highest priority, everything else is set to Medium priority to test if it works. Then I opened the "user defined priority" and set (Download) Maximum to 100%, high to 50%, Medium to 25%, Low to 20% and Lowest to 10%
For Upload i set Maximum 100-100%, High 40-45%, Medium 30-35%, Low 20-25%, Lowest 10-15%.
My actual connection allows me to get 0.4 MB Upload, 3.5 MB download (i know, it sucks, but in this city it's the best i can get.. sadly.)
I noticed that there is a "transferred" section in the "user defined QoS rules". By default it is set to 0-512 or 512- in the default rules. In my rules (dota2 and league of legend) i didnt set it, i dont know if i have to set it neither i know the value i should use..

When nobody is using Wifi or internet connection i have 50-90 ms ping and i can play decently on every game. when someone start watch youtube or something my ping grows, sometimes just a little (like 200-300 ms)[hard and annoying but still possible to play] other times it reaches 2000-3000 ms [it's impossible to play like this]

Thanks in advance to anyone who will help me!

I don't want to rain on your parade, but QoS can not slow down other people sucking all your Internet. That's the way it works - once your ISP has send that movie packet to your router, it is already there, and it ate your bandwidth.

One trick you might want to play is to set WiFi to 802.11b (11MBit) standard 😉

Thanks for answer! So why people say that it would've helped me in some way by prioritizing my packet over the others? i mean, there is some way to do what i need (even by buying something else, i dont know..) and slow down other user on my network(since i'm the one who pay...)?

You can prioritize your data you send from your house but it is likely from your description that it will do nothing. Your problem is likely you are exceeding your download bandwidth not your upload bandwidth.

When the connection to your house is full the ISP must decide which traffic to delay or discard. It is the ISP router that needs to prioritize certain traffic. They could care less, they will just randomly select traffic to delay or discard. Only on commercial connections do the ISP give you any ability to prioritize traffic going to your location....and they only offer this service on the very large connections.
