Question Help With slow PC

HI all need some advice on my partners pc as it is running verry slow i have a almost identical pc to hers but hers will not run most games specs are as follows

cpu: rizen 5 1600X
MBO : MSI B350M
psu:EVGA 600w 80+
GPU : zotac GTX1060 6gb
ram :balistic sport 8gb
HDD : 2x baracuda 1tb

the 2 differences between mine and hers is i have a Tomohawk MBO and a smaller 1060 4gb GPU (older 2)

So the good thing is that you have identical systems so swapping parts will help reveal any complicated issues. But the thing we need to start with is more detailed problem description--what exactly is slow?

the whole system seems slow but she is complaining that she cant play games like fortnight borderlands 3 and the such the only thing i can think of is the Motherboard? as no where seems to do the one she has anymore but they still do mine? eather that or the memmory when she is running programs task manager dose not say anything is over 70% usage so correct me if im wrong that says to me the componants are fine and maybe its a virus or just gunked up drives ?
