Help with software install Xp with a WinTv 150 card

First off I tried installing Ver 6 from Hauppauge and was wondering if card was altered (written to) with newer software.

When I install software from original disc (inserted) the card is now shown in device manager but nothing shows up on screen or in programs. Would reinstalling Xp help?

This card was working well in this environment, when unit was shelved. I would like to watch tv on this monitor.

Yes, had the same problem years ago, used a newer driver version that didn't work, then managed to find the cd driver and still wouldn't work, reinstalling XP was the only thing that got it working.

Well here it is a few hours later and no joy. Tried reinstalling Win XP and same problem. The card is found and installed but the software to run the unit but it just wont install software. No folder, no icons on desktop, nothing avaiable by searching harddrive. I can instal l"Replay TV" and it works. I can find it in Windows media center, but direct playback on the monitor and control is not available. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
