So I bought this mini pc called GXMO N42, see link below.
It has an Intel Celeron N4020C. According to the website it is expendable with a m.2 sata. I opened it up and i think it’s NVME not sata. I am not an expert in this for sure. I have googled my way through this
the slot only has one opening on the right side.
in the BIOS (AMI) it also shows an option for NVME configuration. So I bought a Kingston pcie 4.0 NVME m.2 drive but it doesn’t get recognized in the bios. I am currently running Xubuntu from the internal emmc storage and also Xubuntu doesn’t find the drive.
I tried some stuff I found on Google like turning off safe boot. Some other options I can’t seem to find, like to configure the drive as IED.
At this point I’m not sure if the drive should even work. Can someone confirm if I have the good drive and if so, what I can still try for the drive to get recognized. Thank you!!
