Solution
Your right those results stink. You may have a defective SSD. I would contact Samsung, they may replace it under warranty. It is probably too late to RMA it.

Try reinstalling the operating system from the disc. (Disconnect any hard drives until after the installation.)
Did you do a fresh install of Windows, or did you image it from your existing drive to the SSD?

If you imaged it, it's likely that the partition is misaligned. Windows knows how to align the partition when you install it on a SSD, but often times imaging software aligns the partition incorrectly.

This guide explains how to tell if then partition is misaligned and how to fix it:

SSD Align Guide

yeah I installed the magician tool directly and optimized it thats how am getting those readings I imaged my existing windows not a fresh copy I just followed your advice to check if its aligned properly and it is so I ran the benchmark and got the following;

Solution
ok so you suggest that I try to make a clean fresh install of windows do I need to format 1st if so how? or can u link me a complete noob guide on how to do it properly thanks :)

The actual problem might be your motherboard. I noticed it is a variation of the P55 motherboards that was released in 2010. Originally P55 motherboards only supported SATA 2 3Gb/s devices. Later variations added support for SATA 3 6Gb/s devices. It was a transitional period and some odd things happened.

Data migration applications work reasonably well; however, as you already discovered, there can be problems. That is one of several reason why a fresh clean install is the preferred method.

I recommend you perform a "secure erase" to wipe the ssd clean and make it like new. Follow Samsung's instructions. Once the ssd is prepared you can do a fresh clean install of Windows. Follow Microsoft's instructions.
