Okay, so I have a Kingston 240 GB SSD coming in to replace my 289 GB 10 year old HDD. My question is this, where should I store my stuff when I have a 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Green HDD and the Kingston SSD?I have a few Steam games, and I of course have Windows 7 64-bit. I want to record games and I am unsure where I should store certain things. Any help is appreciated.

It will be fine. Don't put things on the SSD other than the OS.

Would the performance of the game and the recording not be affected by going on one HDD though? I have heard this can be a lot of pressure for one drive.

I have plenty of room. I actually have enough room for 12 drives (including SSD). I just do not have the money at the moment. Thanks for the relply.

Alright. I only have 3 main games that I play. Garry's mod, BF4, and CS:GO. Garry's mod however has a LOT of content in it (50GB) so I am wondering since it doesn't require much to play that it would be best to keep on the HDD. On another note, I am new to using SSD so when I put my OS on there, how would I set it up? I mean at the moment I am taking up 200 GB of my 1 TB drive. How can I install JUST the OS and drivers, etc. on the SSD without putting anything else on there?
