[SOLVED] Help with storage question

I currently have a HDD in my main desktop computer which has my OS and games stored on it. I also have a laptop that has a 250gb SSD inside with the OS installed. Is it possible to connect my laptops SSD into my desktop computer and use it to store files and games while still having an OS installed on it?

While i haven't tried it I suspect you can for things like Steam Games and use the laptops hdd's steam apps folder as a 2nd library location when its in the desktop pc. reverifying files might make it a pain thou.
