Hello everyone!!!
Just got a new case for my HTCP build, been worried about the location and airflow its going to be getting as its in quite a tight space,, so before buying with the new hardware though i would transfer a 2010 Packard Bell Imedia S3810 and run a few test,,,

specs
1st gen core i3 550 3.2GHz stock cooler,, with 7 gig of ram,,fans are running on molex @100%
run a 20 minute test with prime,, 95 temps monitored with speccy averaged around 64

New Build Specs that im thinking off

SilverStone SST-GD05B USB 3.0; Grandia HTPC, Micro ATX, black

Corsair CX500 ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply

Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive

GIGABYTE GA-Z270M-D3H M-ATX 1151 7th Gen DDR4 M.2 Motherboard

Intel Core i5-7500 3.4 GHz QuadCore 6 MB Cache CPU -

Noctua NH-L9x65 - computer cooling

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666Mhz CL16 XMP 2.0

would the upgrade affect the temps in any way, maybe even better, cpu having better thermal quality's perhaps better cpu cooler, the new mobo has 3 fan headers that i can control as they are really load running at full speed,,,,

any advice would be great all.........

got the psu and ssd same time as the case, unfortunately there installed,,id looked at the seasonic G series semi moduler i think it was 550w,,would of cut down on needless cables for sure,, mite still change it an keep the cx for another build,,i do plan to add a GPU after a bit, what would you thoughts be

Hi do you think the upgrade would run cooler,, i was looking at intel spec the TDP is i3 550 73w,,,,,,,,,,,,, i5 65w does that mean the latter generates less heat under load,,,, sorry for the noob questions
