Help with terrible internet

In the area I live I am only able to have CenturyLink as a provider. I get 10 mbs on dsl only and the router that was provided through CenturyLink is only able to reach a few rooms in my house. I can't even stream movies or play games without a power line Ethernet adapter. Does anyone have any tips to help?

Why is a powerline adapter a BAD thing? Streaming via a wired interface is always better. Put a WIFI access point (WAP) at the end of the powerline network if you want WIFI.
