Question Help with understanding supported RAM speeds on the Gigabyte Z690 GAMING X (DDR5) ?

Hi,

I will buy a new mobo, was thinking of Gigabyte's Z690 GAMING X (DDR5) and upon checking the QVL/memory speed supported here:
https://www.gigabyte.com/lv/Motherboard/Z690-GAMING-X-rev-10-11/support#support-memsup

It seems that the max supported speed for 32GB sticks is 5600. Does this mean for a single stick or can I have 64GB (32GBx2) at 5600? It's important to understand this to make sure not to get a mem stick with higher speed than the one supported by my mobo (I'm aware Z790 supports higher speeds, just trying to understand the nomenclature).

Thanks!

That is just a table of what they have tested to be compatible. Be nice if they listed things they tested but were not compatible but they likely would get sued.
Much faster memory might work they just did not test it.

You also have to read their table very carefully it is confusing. You can see they have kits of 2 x 32 listed and you can see the 64gb in the part numbers.
