Hey guys! I've been in the market to either build or buy a pre-built PC. My decision was finally made today and I went with a version of Dells Aurora r7 build. I hope this was a good decision and feel free to give opinions on that!

However, the main topic for this is, what upgrades should I make to this pc in order of importance.
The PC Specs:
Windows 10 operating system

8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-8700 processor
Powerful six-core, twelve-way processing performance. Intel Turbo Boost Technology delivers dynamic extra power when you need it, while increasing energy efficiency when you don't.

16GB system memory for intense multitasking and gaming
Reams of high-bandwidth DDR4 RAM to smoothly run your graphics-heavy PC games and video-editing applications, as well as numerous programs and browser tabs all at once.

DVD/CD burner

1TB hard drive for ample file storage space
Holds a significant collection of digital photos, music, HD videos and DVD-quality movies. 7200 rpm spindle speed enables rapid read/write times for handling large files and complex applications.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics
Driven by 8GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory to quickly render high-quality images for videos and games.

7 SuperSpeed 10Gbs USB 3.1 ports

6 USB 2.0 ports

Killer wireless and wired networking
Killer Wireless-AC 1535 wireless LAN connects to both wireless frequencies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) for the fastest available signal. Killer Game Networking LAN also lets you plug into wired 10/100/1000 networks.

Bluetooth 4.1 interface syncs with compatible devices

Additional ports
Microphone and headphone jacks. Subwoofer port.

From what I have been told, the only real upgrade I should be worried about is picking up a SSD. I'll put a budget of around $100 for an SSD if anyone thinks this is a top priority and knows of a well priced and quality SSD.

It's not too late to return this pc so please give me your opinions, Thanks!

Solution
i would suggest;

- ssd for quick loading of the operating system - samsung evo 850 or 860 series https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3kL7YJ/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e250bam
- a aftermarket cpu cooler so that the cpu stays at lower operating temps and performs better- https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hmtCmG/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2
- a better PSU as this is where these prebuilts skimp and it WILL fail in the future - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/873RsY/antec-power-supply-ea650green

Solution
Thanks for the advice guys! Once I receive the pc, i'll have a better idea on if i need to upgrade the psu. As i thought, i should grab an ssd, and i'll pick up a cpu cooler as well. Will a budget of $150 suffice for those 2 parts? Or should I wait to purchase them a little bit and increase my budget?

yep $150 will suffice the two parts i linked are less than that. so you are set to go.
(maybe just double check case space for the aftermarket cooler).

have fun!
