Hey,

Me and my partner brought a second hand desktop in Finland for a fairly good price (180 euros)

It is pretty dated, but does have a okayish cpu, [Full specs below]

- Intel core i5 3.2ghz Clarkdale 2 cores
- HP standard 450w PSU
- MSI 2A9C MATX Motherboard (1 PCI-E 16 x 2.0 slot)
- ATI Radeon 5570 (Bottle necking obviously)
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- Creative blast sound card
- WD Blue SCSI
- Disk Drive / SDC-ports / Wifi [handy and nice to have]

The case is a HP-PE, Which is actually designed well and has a nice layout. This computer was never brought in mind for heavy gaming, but with a attractive pricetag (for Finland anyway) I thought with a few ajustment's, this computer should be able to handle the classical games like Football manager, Sims3, AOE, Overwatch at a push [More casual/fun gaming, work takes up to much time]

My thought was maybe go for Geforce 1030 Overclock 2GB, and get a bronze 500w power supply, and upgrade the ram to Hyper X estimated £170 euros upgrade price, meaning for (380ish euros I have a fairly okay desktop considering what it is being used for)

System after upgrade:

- Intel core i5 3.2ghz Clarkdale 2 cores
- 500w Corsair Power supply
- MSI 2a9c MATX
- Geforce 1030oc 2gb
- 8GB Hyper X ram DDR3
- WD Blue SCSI 1TB

Opinions welcome!

Thank you.

Solution
You may not need the power supply as the 1030 doesn't draw much power. In those games as long as your expectations are decent frame rates in 720p the it should so what you want
