Question Help with upgrade

Hello everyone, I'm here looking for advice on what components to upgrade next. I built my pc from scratch less than 2 years ago I believe, I didn't know much, asked some friends for advice and tried to make a budget build. Screwed up here and there but eventually got my pc together, could play pretty much anything on high settings with AA AF and v-sync off but now I feel I can try to invest and get it better. Was mainly considering getting a better case with more fans and a decent 500gb ssd but I believe that my motherboard is holding me back because it has no overclock capability.I mainly play pubg and apex, what would be the most efficient upgrade for me?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7600K CPU @ 3.80GHz

Msi Radeon RX 580 Series 8 gb

I'd upgrade the psu, motherboard and ram personally, 16gb of ram will give you more breathing space for gaming plus with a z motherboard you can then overclock and squeeze more performance out of that cpu

I've seen People argue that it wouldn't be worth investing on a 7th gen mobo, but what do you honestly think? Cause upgrading the Motherboard would be my top choice atm

Very right, was thinking of gradually upgrading in the next couple of months. I'd say 150-250 per month

X570 or B450 Motherboard (with updated BIOS)

August or later.

GPU upgrade, to make it worthwhile I'd go RTX 2060/2070 or better also including AMD Equivilent (RX 30XX series?). After the GPU upgrade I'd consider a monitor upgrade if your currently at 1080P.

I'd agree with this upgrade path, there isn't much you can do with the 7th gen series of Intel CPUs, as the motherboards aren't compatible with 8/9th generation CPUs. The 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs are going to support PCI-Express 4.0, and will have increased core counts, with a 7nm die shrink, which will at the very least force Intel to once again either drop their own prices or increase core counts drastically.

Your welcome. 3rd Gen Ryzen should bring some good improvements with the additional cores/threads and higher clock speeds, look for reviews before you buy.

Or after the Ryzen 3000's get released and people upgrade from their current Ryzen 2000's you could probably get a 2600 through 2700x used for a Very good price.

Yes all of those are compatible with your current motherboard. For the memory when you enable XMP in the BIOS it will run at 2400mhz instead of 3200mhz as that's the max speed the motherboard supports but it's not a issue as memory speeds make little difference in gaming for Intel.
