Hello,

I just bought a used NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 512mb agp card to replace my old Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 128mb agp card, however after I installed the new card I wouldn't be able to reach the windows xp loading screen, my screen would show weird graphical color blocks then the screen would go black. A 4-pin molex power cable is connected from the the motherboard to the video card and the fans were spinning. I tried adjusting settings in the BIOS and didn't have any luck. Before I installed the card, I've uninstalled the old nvidia driver and tried installing the correct driver, but couldn't since I had my old one installed. My PSU has an output of 350w, is it possible that there is not enough power to support the card? This is an old xp system that I wanted to try to beef up the specs/performance for gaming. Hope you guys can help me out.

System Specs:
Windows XP Professional 2002 SP3 32bit
3 sticks of 1 GB of PC2700 DDR Ram - 3gb maxed
PSU with output of 350 watts
Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128mb agp graphics card
Western Digital HDD (5200rpm) ~160gb
Mobo: ABIT SR7-8X (SiS648+SiS963) with an AGP 4X/8X interface (1.5v/0.8v)
CPU: Pentium 4 (2.4 GHz)

Thanks Mike,
I have tried using the DDU, but again after POST I'm still seeing the weird color blocks and then a black screen. I'm thinking maybe the video card is faulty or perhaps I need a better PSU?
