help with upgrading my pc

So I have a pc here's the build. Intel i3. 3.2ghz CPU. intel onboard graphics. 6gb ram. 300w power supply. Not sure on the motherboard but it has pci express 16 slot.
So here's my question I want a graphics card for low - mid gaming and would I need to upgrade the power supply. Also ino that the CPU is crap so that will bottle neck it at some point. Cheers guys

Yep you would need a better psu - XFX 550W is great. For low-mid gaming a GeForce GTX 750ti is great

First of all I need to know your CPU name and Graphic card can be the Radeon R7 250.Its a great card for the price and plz give the name of the cpu.You can do it by running CPU-Z on your pc.

If your budget was £150 then get the Radeon 7870 that would even manage ultra.

Please give me the name of your CPU so to determine it will bottleneck or not

You might be able to pull off a R7 240, but you would be much better off with at least a 430W PSU.

And for the PSU issue you can grab a corsair builder series CX430 which can handle even a HD 7850

I disagree. 2nd gen i3 will give a slight bottleneck. However, this should not hold you back from getting a better GPU.
