[SOLVED] help with upgrading rig

hey there bought a pc about two years ago and im planning on upgrading it.

4,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (corsair i think?)
Intel Core i3 4170 @ 3.70GHz
ASRock B85M-HDS R2.0
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (the gigabyte g1 gaming version)
223GB Crucial CT240BX200SSD1 (SATA (SSD))

i know that the first things that i should change are the motherboard, RAM and the CPU as i bought the pc with upgrading it in mind. ¿What would you guys recommend to me without spending too much? My idea is to use it mainly for gaming and normal tasks such as video movies and so on

You need at least 8GB ram
then an SSD
970 is fine

upgrade to 8gb of ram and an i5 or i7, youd be looking good after that.
