Help with upgrading

This is my current Setup i use it for gaming currently Pillars eternity and it runs it quite well.


9gb DDR 3 1333Mhz
Athlon II X3 450 3.20 GHZ
Nvidia GTX 560 TI 1gb DDR3
Motherboard : GIGABYTE 970A-DS3, AM3+
128gb SSD
500GB Hard drive

Im really not sure what to get next ive considered the following i have a budget of £50

Im considering another SSD
Or a new Video Card though i havent a clue what to get?
Or a new processor

As i mentioned i only have £50ish to spend

You can unlock that CPU to a Phenom 2 x4 B50. This will gain you some performance and it is free. There is about a 80% chance it will work, but it is definitely worth a shot. Nothing to lose.

You would probably see the most difference upgrading your GPU and eventually your CPU. Unfortunately your budget cannot accommodate either of those as a new GPU for you (GTX 660) is around £150 and the CPU (fx6300) for around £85. You will have to save for those if you want to get them now.

What would a slight upgrade to my gpu be when i look at gpu c ompare alot of the cards ie 650 ti come off worse?

Yes the 650ti is worse than your 560ti. Newer does not mean better.

How much of a step up? You really want something like a gtx760.
